The hugely popular independent game Vampire Survivors recently received a Vampire Survivors update that added a local co-op option that supports up to four players on all platforms where the game is currently playable. The unique vampire-themed game, which does not contain any actual vampires, is also making its Nintendo Switch debut, and this version features the eagerly awaited couch co-op update. Vampire Survivors on Steam is also upgrading to a new engine for improved performance.

Vampire Survivors on the Nintendo Switch is now accessible for $4.99/€4.99/£3.99. This has a launch discount of 10% that is valid through August 29. The version includes all recent upgrades, including the eagerly anticipated 4-player co-op.
Vampire Survivors Update adds a multiplayer co-op option.
Through a free update, the local cooperative mode was made available. In a local split-screen cooperative setting, this mode enables users to enjoy the whole Vampire Survivors story with a maximum of four other players. Each participant needs a different controller, and this feature is available on PC, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and mobile devices.
Players have the choice to continue their current game progress in this co-op mode or start a new adventure with friends, united to battle waves of the reanimated dead. During various stages, seamless switching between single-player and cooperative modes permits the communal unleashing of mayhem. Similar to other popular cooperative games, Vampire Survivors offers opportunities to gauge comradery.
Coming Soon: Cross-Save Feature
Although it is still under development, cross-save is being worked on. Although certain saves have been made to function, the developers wish to do additional tests to be sure.
New Steam Game Engine
The new game engine for Vampire Survivors on Steam will function concurrently with the old one. Currently, available platforms include PC, mobile devices, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and most recently, Nintendo Switch.
