In certain scenarios, it may be necessary to assign multiple characters to a single character. Discover the methods and strategies to accomplish this effectively.
First, go to the Adobe Mixamo website and create an account or sign in if you already have one. Then, go to the Characters Channel and download the character y bot (Or) any other character you want.
Make sure to select the “normal fbx binary” format before downloading and that the pose is set to “t-pose.” You can also download a character and any other characters at this.
And give the name y bot reame as the main character and the other two characters rename it character 1 and character 2.
Next, open Unreal Engine and drag the character into the content folder.
The Import Options dialog box will appear. Reset the options to their defaults and make sure the animation checkbox is disabled. Repeat these steps for the other two characters.
The main character is the primary character. We will be uploading other skeletons to it. Go to the next character that you imported into a separate folder. Right-click on the character and rename it to something like “skin.”
Skeleton Mesh Action dialog box will appear. In the “Skeleton” section, assign the skeleton of the main character to the new character.
Do the same thing for the other character and rename it.
Click and drag the main character into the workspace. In the right-hand side box, select the “Skeleton Mesh Asset” and you will see the character that you assigned to the main character.
Select the character that you assigned to the main character in the workspace to see it in Unreal Engine.
