A textured model is a 3D model that has been given a surface appearance by applying textures to it. Textures can be images, photographs, or even procedural patterns. They are used to give the model a more realistic appearance and to add detail.

Benefits of using textured models:

  • They can make 3D models look more realistic.
  • They can add detail to 3D models.
  • They can be used to create different variations of the same 3D model.
  • They can be used to create 3D models that are more visually appealing.
